Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the heart of Wilmington's historic downtown, the Front Street Inn Boutique Hotel offered us an exquisite blend of charm and comfort during our recent stay. With the romantic ambiance of our room featuring a king-size lodge pole bed and a private wrought-iron balcony overlooking Front Street, every moment felt like a delightful escape. The attentive staff ensured our experience was seamless, making use of the innovative texting app for convenience a breeze. The location was simply perfect; we strolled effortlessly to nearby cafes, unique shops, and historic sites, providing us with a true essence of Americana. The tranquil gardens surrounding the inn made for a peaceful retreat after our adventures, while the prospect of breakfast on the beautiful screened porch tantalized our senses, although our experience with the complimentary cooked breakfast took a bit of a hit due to undercooked eggs. The Front Street Inn is a hidden gem, ideal for romantic getaways or simply indulging in the beauty and history of Wilmington.
